Thin Air Tree Service is owned and operated by Jonathan Clifton — an ISA Certified Arborist with more than 20 years of experience in professional tree care.

Before coming to Wyoming, Jonathan built and operated a successful tree service in Leavenworth, Washington for eight years. Leavenworth sits in the heart of the Cascade Mountains — dense Pacific Northwest forest, steep and technical terrain, and some of the most demanding removal work in the industry. Jonathan's crew worked regularly on and around million-dollar properties where there was no room for error: large conifers in tight spaces, removals over structures, technical rigging on steep slopes, and clients who expected the job done right the first time without a scratch on their property.

That's the standard Jonathan brought to every job in Washington — and it's the standard he brings to every job in Wyoming.

When he and his family made the decision to leave everything behind and start fresh in the Bighorn Basin, he stepped away from the industry entirely — spending a year and a half focused on family, on settling into a new place, and on doing things at the right pace.
